Title: Anyone know anything about this Carb?

I'm looking at the non emission carb from Rod's Samurai Salvage, third item from the top on the 1st link.  I'm guessing it is a stock carb from a different vehicle.   It looks alot easier to deal with and I love the HUGE float window.  Any info on how these units work would be a big help.  I'm not looking for huge power gains as much as I'm looking for ease of install and driveablilty

Could be a Nikki, they used to be quite common over here as a cheaper alternative to a Weber. I believe that they were OE on early Nissans. Very popular with the Vdub boys.
