i am in the hunt to buy a new vehicle, and dont know what to go with.
i found a 4door kick no lift or mods, good condition, 66k, for $5987
i would like to lift it bl, and suspension, tires, etc. glorified grocery getter style
is this to much for the kick. do the 4doors have more power then the two? my 2dr is sluggish

What year is it? I just bought a 95 for 1800
-
Yeah, the year would give us a better idea... My LOADED '93 JLX with 88k was Kelly Blue Book valued at $3100 (I paid $500 for it but there was a reason for that ;) )
Another thing to consider is the fact that you'll trade ride comfort for ground clearance with a 4-door. If you are going to be a casual wheeler, then a mild suspension lift and maybe a mild body lift with some "30 tires will do nicely. If you want to go wilder, a 2-door would be a better choice. Plus, you can find 2-doors every five feet. Pre-'96 First Generation 4-doors are a little more rare. two-door tintops (real hardtops) are the rarest!
Hope this helps!

the year would really make a difference, and the power depends on the engine. what engine does your 2 door have?
-
Wait for a 2 door... nice short wheelbase means less lift needed to achieve a nice breakover angle..plus they're cuter... :P

down below my text i have listed that i already own a 2dr, 98
i want more room, and it is a cloth top, and i want metal.
also, sorry about the original post, it is a 4dr 1998 and i found out that it has around 120 hp vs. my 2dr 98 with 90 hp.
my 2dr is for sale too.
