Title: 89 and 91 computers the same?

No it will not. 89 and 90 use vacuum timing advance, and 91+ use electronic advance, which is in the ECM.

What's the issue with your 91's ECM?
Are you not getting fuel ? ::) ::)

Post by: westvilleguy on November 18, 2006, 07:58:56 PM: having a wiring problem got it narrowed down to the front was blowing fuses cliped a blue wire from the relay goes somehwere up into the computer we think. it stopped blowing fuses but wont start when the wires clipped, when its hooked up blows fuses again i dont no much about wiring so i had a guy come out and today to help when he left he got me to rip the dash apart see if i could find a short in this blue wire but couldnt see anything but theres also quite a few wires up there he wanted me to see if the computers were the same just to try if they were
