I have a 91 trackick and im wondering if 31x11.50x15 LTB's will clear without trimming ???
I have a 3" bodylift with 2 1/4" coilspacers in the front and cut down XJ coils in the rear, about 6"-6.5" lift total.
Will the clear without any trimming?
just wondering, thanks again boys.

hey, do a search! kidding, i get tired of reading too.. they should clear no problem, maybe rub the frame if you don't have the right backspacing on your rims, i'm sure somebody here will tell you what rim you need.
-
yea, im planing on running some stock ford bronco rims. I ground out the centers already, i donno the width or the offset. If they rub the frame i can just ajust the steeringstops right?
-
I think you should be ok, I'm running ford turbine rims with out any rub on the frame but I only have 1.5" coil spacers witha 3" BL. I got a little rubbing on the rear of the front fender with 31's. I trimmed the fenders and everything is good now.

yeah, my 31's fit perfectly with only a 3" suspension lift. you'll be fine.
-
has anyone else have any opinions? Would it be ok to run these on a 7" rim?
-
Have you considered the 31x9.50 swamper tsl? i run those on a 15x7 with a 2''b/l and coil spacers with no rubbing issues, and the tires work great ;D

i want to get a wider tire for stability. interco reccomends a 8" wheel but i have 7" or 7.5" wheels, should be fine right ???
-
i agree with work in progress on the skinny tire, i run the same. aren't the ltb's bias ply? might not be as nice for daily driving. what about the 31x10.5 truxus's or whatever their called? just a though anyway. skinny tires don't look as big or impressive but the work very very well.
-
well, i was looking into the trxus m/t but it was 780.00 cdn and i got a quote of 700.00 cdn for the LTB's so i might as well get more aggrasive tires. As for the flatspots, I'm young and can take it, these will be only run when wheeling and swapped out for some 31x10.50x15 bfg muds for on the street
DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT MOUNTING THESE ON A 7" RIM ???
-
I'm not sure about running them on a 7" rim, but I'm running the 31" trexus tires on my daily driver and off road it without any problems, they're a great tire. Why not spend the extra 80.00 on tires and only have one set, then you can afford the 8" rims. If you're concerned about offset I can measure mine for you. Actually I have a 31" spare on a steel rim purchased from National 4wd if you want to try it on your rig, as those you can purchase. The rest of my rims are the aluminum ford turbine rims, but you can find those cheap in most buy and sell papers, we can pull one of those of my rig and try it on yours if you live around here. I kno0w you're in Canada but can't remember where.

I just have a 2 in body lift on mine and i am running 31x11.50x16 swampers with a little trimming on the front bumper and a little beating on the back part of the front wheel house.

thanks for the pic, i don't think i will have any problems with these tires with the amount of lift i have and i don't have any of the stock bumpers, all should be good.
