Title: sammy SMOG?

how hard is it to get an 86 sammy to pass smog?  Im sure someone on here has had to mess with smoging on there sammy.  I live in california so it makes it a bit tuffer to. 
Is it a pain the the a$$ to get them to smog?  or will a carb rebuild and a new CAT do the trick, maybe even some sea foam.

i know a place up here in Sac that can get any sami to smog...

If worse comes to worse i guess i could fall back on that.
