Well. this is my first post here. You´ll have to excuse my english since Im from Iceland but i´ll do my best :)
This was my first real off road trip on my 2001 Grand Vitara V6 wich is raised and sitting on 35" Bf goodrich tires. My friend, who has a 1992 Toyota Hilux raised on 38" tires joined me in this trip and the goal was to get to the top of a mountain here in iceland called "Skjaldbreið"
In this picture im stuck in a heavy mix of water and snow.. I got around that one with carefull driving :)

But sometimes the ice wont hold my light little Grand Vitara :)

Hmmm.. I bought it like this but it has a 3 inch body lift and a 2 inch suspension lift
Then there is a lot af cutting of the fenders and these new "fenders" were put on becouse here in iceland the tires can not stick out further then the body..
Its a manual but it has the differentials from an automatic..wich are a little lower

Well, my tires rub a little bit when im in a full turn (that doesnt sound right but hopefully you understand :) )
No its not a factory edition... A custom "lifting" company here in iceland (and there are alot of them) did the job. There´s a company here in iceland that specialises in making the additionals "fenders" on most lifted 4x4 here in Iceland.. I will start a "All icelandic" threat here with many lifted cars and trucks later today :)

WELCOME TO ZUKIWORLD
Ship me some of those fender flares and I'll start cutting on my Vit. Great pics,,,close ups please.
Your English is better than most college grads here in the US. We can't even begin to pronounce " Skjaldbreio " I know your native language is very difficult to learn.
