Title: tire size

Just picked up a 88 sammy and am going to put on a 2" shackle reversal and 2" BL.  What size tire can I realisticly go with.  Gears are not an issue.

i say 31" to 33" easy

I had an '87 with just Calmini's shackle reversal and ran 31x10.50 MT Baja Claw radials on it. The tires would rub slightly at full lock either way. They were mounted on 15x7 rims with 3 1/2" backspacing and fit  really well, the outer edge of the tire was just even with the factory fender flare.
