Title: Factory Traction Control on"99+ TrackVits
Post by: 97TRAKIN on January 10, 2005, 06:46:16 AM
How many of you knew the "99+ Automatic TrackVits have traction control for controled take offs in slippery conditions. To use it you put the power switch in the on position and turn off the over drive, then you put the gear selecter in second(2) gear. It prevents the Transmision from going into first(1) gear to prevent wheel spin on take off. And it WORKS!
On the manual trucks just use second(2) gear. Once you get rolling just put it back in drive.

This was just FYI no responce necessary
