Title: First oil change on the GV
Post by: Fredo on December 20, 2006, 01:55:22 PM
My new 2002 GV just turn 75 000 km so I need to change oil.

I know that 5W30 100% synthetic is preferable for this motor, but how much litres?

Best brand?

Thanx

Fredo

I typically put in a 4.4 liter jug and a smaller 1 liter jug = roughly 5.25 to 5.5 liters. Then use the stick to fine tune ;)

I always run Mobil 1 synthetic.  It's proven good stuff, available anywhere, cheap (in terms of synthetic oil), and hasn't given me a reason to go looking for something else.

That's what I ran in the GV and will run in the replacement.
