There are a number of 88 Factory Service manuals in Adobe PDF format floating around on the Internet that you can download for free.

One resides at Ack's FAQ (do a search for fsm).  Other, possibly better versions exist at http://www.suzukiinfo.com/ (http://www.suzukiinfo.com/).  I may be mirroring and linking several of those documents at the FAQ soon.

Hope this helps!

Im getting mine for my 88 sammi soon, my brother got the 1000 page factory manual on disc for me.  Im stoked cant wait till i can replace those dam Haynes books....THEY ARE SH*T haha
Always seem to leave out the one thing you need to know, makes a nice day working on the ol sammi a horrible time.
