I am considering purchasing a 1998 4 door Suzuki Sidekick JLX to lift and run 33" tires on. Has anyone modified this vehicle? Where you Happy with it. I am torn between this and a Suzuki Samurai. I figured the 4 door would be beneficial to me and my two sons and the wife? But you cannot beat the way you can make a Samarai Look!!! :)

lots of lifted 4 doors on here. They are not a big as you think. Once you go 4 door with a family you will not want a samurai! ;D
Trailtough sells OME stuff or a toyota solid axle conversion. you can also go Calmini but the ride sucks! unless you go skinny 33's you will run into major problems with tire rub. 33x9.50 BFG AT would probably fit in a 3" susp and 3" body lift.

i havea 4 door sport that i am goingt o start a mild build in the little while. probobly just some 31's for now. i have a 2dr on 33x12.5's and it needed some definete trimming with the body lift and coil spacers.
it will go anywhere with 33's and a welded rear though. just be nice to have the added room and comforts fo rmy sport for the woods.

Check page 2 of the link in my signature. I put a small lift and tire upgrade on mine.
