I'm lookling at some wheels Eagles- 058s 15X7 and I want to run 30X9.5 tires on my Trackick. Is the 4" backspace too much? Do I need 3.25 - 3.75 to clear the fram at lock?
Or does anyone know where I can get Alloys like that with the small holes with custom backspace? Or manufactured with less?
Thanks

4 inches is too much backspacing. i have 15x8's with 3.25" backspacing, 1" wheel spacers, and 31" tires. i think anything between 2.5 and 3" backspacing is best for zuks

I run 30x9.5's on 15x7 wheels with 3.75" backspacing, and dont have a problem at all with rub. the only lift i have is some 1.5" coil spacers.
I had 235/75x15 tires on stock rims that were 4.25-4.5" backspacing, with no lift. and it did rub the frame at full lock, but it wasnt really that bad.

Hey 4nJeep I tried to PM you. It now looks like I'm buying some used Outlaw 2s which he says are 15x7 with 3.5" backspace.
The one's I've seen online are 3.75 backspace, I don't know if the 1/4 inch will make a lot of difference or not.
I'd like to run 30x9.5 tires with 1.5" coil spacers on my Tracker. Sounds like you think they will fit and if I get frame rub it will be minimal?

hey, i didnt get that pm from you. but anyways
i took some pics for you so you know how it will fit, keep in mind the tires are at about 50% and not new, so with new tires it will be a little bit tighter. they are 30x9.5x15 good year mt/r's on CSA scorpion 15x7 with 3.75" offset, and boondox motorsport 1.5" coil spacers. 3.5 will be about the same.
here is the back, as you can see there is lots of room

this is the front , there is about .5" between the tire and the bumper

this is the back of the front fender i had to remove my mud flaps for it to fit properly.
you can see where it will be tight there also.

the frame rub you can see here is from my old 235/75/15 tires on stock rims.
this is almost full lock, it went back a bit when i got out.

hope this helps.
ps. if it does rub the fram a little, you can always adjust your stearing stops.

Thanks, this is real good to know. I think that the Outlaws are the same size and BS as yours and now I'll probably go with 30X9.5 now that you have calmed my fears! ;D The pics are great! Thanks again.... Huh?, my PM didn't get there? I must have screwed it up. I'm new to the site.
Did you notice any gas mileage drop going to 30's from 235's?
Thanks Thanks Thanks

there wasnt much of a difference, maybe a little. there was a big difference when i put 5.12 gears in, i have an auto.
either way the gas mileage sucks :P
