Title: Samurai Pulls Under Heavy Breaking
Post by: W.O.T on January 09, 2007, 09:43:04 PM
im pretty sure its a braking problem but im not really sure what to look for.   the samurai drives perfectly straight with no hands on the wheel so i dont think its alignment.  but under moderate braking it pulls to the right pretty hard.  any ideas?  could it just need a new set of pads on the front end?

my 88 sammie has the stock brake setup on it and the way the master cylinder works is it applies the brakes in an X pattern not like american rigs sepparating the fronts and the rears in the master, hope this helps, and yes it is normal on a sammie needing a brake job!

Stop running into things and maybe it won't break so much.  ;D

Bad oil seal on one side will make it pull to the side that has no oil on the break pad. First thing to check...
