im pretty sure its a braking problem but im not really sure what to look for. the samurai drives perfectly straight with no hands on the wheel so i dont think its alignment. but under moderate braking it pulls to the right pretty hard. any ideas? could it just need a new set of pads on the front end?

Can you say, brake job!!! :) :) :)

my 88 sammie has the stock brake setup on it and the way the master cylinder works is it applies the brakes in an X pattern not like american rigs sepparating the fronts and the rears in the master, hope this helps, and yes it is normal on a sammie needing a brake job!

You have a caliper hanging up

Stop running into things and maybe it won't break so much. ;D

Bad oil seal on one side will make it pull to the side that has no oil on the break pad. First thing to check...

i pulled it apart and the caliper and disc were covered in grease. do you know which seal it is? i pulled it apart but didnt find anything that looked to be bad. thanks
