Title: missing link shackles
Post by: W.O.T on January 09, 2007, 10:09:22 PM
i have the jp eater lift kit from rocky road.  it has aftermarket shackles, hangers, and stock wrangler leafs.  i have seen a few pics of samurais with the missing link shackles.  do they give alot more articulation?  i have read a few bad things about them.  i dont really know what they are and what the benefit of them is.  can someone point me in the right direction?
Thank You

From what i heard and seen your not supposed to run a missing link with YJ springs.
When the zuk hits a bump its un loads the shackle and makes its kinda scary to drive.
I have seen quite a few people running it thou, they say its nice and flexy...But none of those people drive there rigs on road...
