hey everyone i am on a strict budget seeing that im only 17 yrs old but i love to 4 wheel my 94 track..i want to get a lift and some mud tires. Im thinkin bout gettin 235 75 15 mud tires for dirt cheap and i wanted to get a set of 1 1/2 inch coil spacers from digger and the 2 inch body lift from RRO. will this look and perform good. Im goin wit the 235s cause bigger ones are just too much $ for me to afford and i was lookin around and i found that 235 75 15 tires are just a tiny bit smaller than 30 inch tires..is that true cause the tires i want are like 50 more bucks for 30 inch..just tell me wat you guys think..thanks

Sounds to me like you're working a good plan. You can start with the 235/75 tires, they'll just clean off a little spot on the frame at full lock, even without the body lift.
30s are too big without putting more work/$ into it. Stay as close to 29" as you can.

Hey, I'm 17 too. Right on! I have a 1.5" lift and 235/75R15 tires on my 4 door 97 and I think if you are going to put on the 1.5" lift and a 2" body lift, you should go for the bigger meats. Even with no body lift, I wish I had gone for a bit bigger than 235/75R15 (28.8 according to some online tire size converter) because it looks like I've got fairly good tire-to-fender clearance. Here's some pics to help out:

I would go for 30" tires if you do the body lift with the 1.5" coil spacers.
PS my 235's don't rub at all. That's why I decided on them instead of 30"...figured 30" would be just too much for 1.5" lift and I didn't want to trim at all.

Looks nice!
If money's an issue, though, do the same and go 29s (235/75). Regretting that last inch isn't worth not having gas money to go wheeling.

thanks for the replies guys i think im gonna go with the coil and body lift wit the 235s. it might not sound good to some ppl but it should perform well. also i found these tires they look good and for the price i might not be able to pass them up

personally, i wouldnt get the body lift until youre ready for bigger tires. that just seems like a lot of lift just for 235's.

Hi museboy7 :)
From my own personal experience I have found that you can get away with a surprisingly small tyre and really go places. The IFS of the Kicks give very good clearance with a relatively small lift, the rear is another kettle of fish though - the bigger the rubber out back the more air under your pumpkin :-\
Your plan is sound. You will not run into gearing issues with your decision, the drive train will take a thrashing all day and get home alive ;D .
My advice: Go for it and when you go wheeling think about the terrain ahead and take good lines. You do not have to conquer everything you come across to wheel - the best wheelers out there are the ones who tale good lines and preserve their rigs and this my freind is what you should aim for >:D .
Good luck and hap hap happy ;D ;D ;D wheeling.
