Post by: museboy07 on January 22, 2007, 08:26:04 PM
i was readin around the web and i found that you can use 2 inch jeep tj coil spacers for my 94 track if i cut the center hole to 2.25inch. there alot cheaper then regular spacers for my rig.  can this be done or are these ppl crazy?

sky manufacturing sells their coil spacers for $80 for a set of 4 and digger sells his here on the site also. then you dont have to mess around with drilling the other ones.

I did it before, but it's not necessary now with the above mentioned. The inside hole needs to be 2.5" not 2.25".

i have a heep spacer all chopped down to size in addition to my jdmcrx spacers in the back, they fit well once shaped to size which was done before i received them from another member on the board.

Read the comment from RockMolester.

My personal feelings about the TJ spacers is if you're going through the trouble of reaming out the center hole, why not just go one step further and make your own? In that same thread you will find a post that I put up that describes the process.

That's my 2 cents ;)
