last night while doing some 'wheelin im my 95 t-racker i noticed a weird noise coming from my drivers side door, so i stopped to see if i had some ice, or weird cling on from the trail....nothing......i noticed that my weatherstriping was off around the hinge, and was pinching it, so i fixed that issue, kept on 'wheelin......the noise was back after the next bump! then i stopped and wiggled my door to see if that was it....yup....pins wasted, and the hinge was loose where it bolted to the door. After getting home, i noticed that the upper door pin was the only one wiggling and that the actual pin had moved in the hinge, only to be caught by the circlip. the head of the pin was not even in contact with the hinge. i used a punch and a hammer to move the pin back up, the pin wasnt as worn there..so what i did was used a big set of vise-grip plires to bend the hinge just a crotch hair to tighten the pin inside of it.....PROBLEM SOLVED! the door is good as new...just dont know how long it'll last
i know its not the right thing to do....but hey!~ i got $500 in this thing all together...with 235/75/15 high-tec retread otr mud tires, 2 in coil spacer, and 15 cans of flat black spray paint from wal-mart ;D

ya know texrock.....i totally thought the idea over, and maybe where u are it would be excellent, but up here in michigan today we got 2 feet of snow on top of what we already had, and its about 7 degrees without the windchill!! would be excellent for the summertime but i cruise in a 1990 dodge dakota with full air ride and totally custom paint job, fully shaved, and i also have a 12 second saturn on nitrous...but those are summer cars...this is a winter vehicle....aweasome idea, thou!!
