Title: 16v head on 8v block?

Can i put a 16v head on an 8v block...if so what would i need to complete this.  My 8v head is in bad shape and im gonna be pullin the engine to re-ring the pistons co i might as well do this if i can.  Has anyone done this before?

if you originally had the 8v motor and want to put the 16v head on it you need everything 16v related, wiring, multi point fuel injection, dont forget the use the 16v pistons as well.
