hey guys
i'm craig and i am from whitbourne newfoundland canada. i bought a 1998 suzuki x-90 last summer with 139,000 kms on it. yes kms lol. so far i got 3500 worth of audio gear in it which includes dvd screen, sub, ps2 etc. i havn't done anything with regards to 4x4 offroad upgrades. but i need some help to do so

also a new power stering pump wouldn't hurt either cause it gave out and i only have standard stering now. i replace the rear shocks with KYB ones, they had a lifetime warr. which was great. where could i obtain a lift kit for myx-90? i want the one which includes the lower control arms etc. stering extension bar

They are pretty easy to lift since underneath the body they are basically the same as a Tracker/sidekick. Track/kick lifts fit fine. The stock x-90 coil springs are lighter in rate than Track/kick though, so any lift that uses the stock springs would benefit from switching to stiffer Track/kick stock springs. The wheel openings are really small, so don't expect fo fit huge tires without a lot of trimming! Track/kick body lifts fit as well. Just be prepared to do something about raising the bumpers to match if you do a body lift.
I don't know about a steering extension bar(whatever that is :-\) but for a kit that includes front lower control arms, go with the Calmini 2" kit. If you are looking for front and rear lower control arms, then you're probably going to want to look at the Calmini 3" suspension kit. Check out Calmini's website(the link is easy to be found around here in the links section I think...

thinking about ordering the Calmini 3" suspension kit once i get some extra cash together, then i might aquire some diamond plate for front and rear skip plates. not sure how much weight this would add but i bet it would look sharp. i'm missing a drivers side mirror also so i was think about maybe upgrading to a set of power mirrors.
i went and bought a set of 215/75r/15's but becuase i dont have a lift they were 1/4 inch too big. they fit but almost rubbed the fender when the wheels turned. i took them off because i was afraid of packed snow etc that build up on the wheels in the cold NL climate, so i changed them for a set of 205/65r/15 which is the biggest set of tires recomended in the tire guide at work for the x-90. around NL there are only 3 of these cars, so i get a lot of weird looks when at the stoplight, espically with a 1000watts in the trunk lol, helps to have the t-top out.
I'm excited about joining this fourm and i hope that its members can point me int he right direction with my build. after the winter i am getting a beater till i complete the work. I'll document everything once i get started and post it ont he tech fourm
however, anyone with parts laying around or upgrade they havn't installed yet post it up. i may purchase it off u in the upcoming weeks.

Well, mine is running a calmini 2" suspension lift with the front stock coils swapped for stock 2 door track/kick springs, and Trail Tough 1-1/4" wheel spacers to help widen out the stance. It uses the stock rims and some nice BFG excentia tires that are wider and a little taller than stock(I don't remember the exact size and I don't feel like going out in the cold to look right now! LOL!). This combination has proven itself to me several times since I got it to be one heck of a great ride. It's a little on the stiff side, but corners like you wouldn't beleive and is incredibly stable. On twisty, loose dirt/gravel roads this thing is a blast to kick into 4hi and let it hang out rally-style! The 4 wheel drifts are very controllable and predictable. The tires seem to do pretty decent in the snow, too from what I've seen the last few days.

post a picture. yeah i uses mine (stock) here in the snow and the drifts i can make it thur are retarded

No, Like I said above and is posted in my sig, I'm running the Calmini 2" suspension lift... As for the push bar, you'll have to look around ebay and such or custom make one. I don't think any aftermarket suppliers are making them anymore. Mine I got used from another X-90 owner that changed to a winch bumper.
