Post by: cgreen84 on January 31, 2007, 10:43:24 AM

Actually, how do you know it needs tightened up? A good cleaning of all of the exposed sections of track with good old original armor all will get those windows sliding nicely... Do it soon, too, because the longer the motor has to fight the extra drag, the more worn out the motors will become.

Got some tire slip from the garage which is used when mounting tires, sprayed it ont he rubber window track that the window slide on. didn't even have to take the door apart. cleaned the tracks and way to go. window finally come up now!! instead of pulling them lol

Cleaning the rubber channels with armor all does the same thing without the mess... Oh wait, I already told you about that... ::) Nevermind... LOL!

Thanks all!  I'll give it a try here when the weather turns (no heated garage...)
