Can the heater fan be replaced with a different one that moves more air?
On some Jeeps you can install a Chevy blower without changing anything, it just bolts in. But moves more air.

Im looking for the same thing..my heater is way too loud and does not blow fast at all...any help would be great

Haha, I thought it was only mine!! I was thinking maybe it was just wearing out, and was going to buy a new one from the dealer. BTW- look under your dash and make sure all your duct work is connected, I had a lose one, and it was leaking air, I fixed it and it made it a little better, but it still sux.

I have been looking for an older snowcat heater. My friend mounted one in his jeep and the that rig stays VERY warm in the winter.

If your a Sammy, dont' forget to clean the heater first. The heater core gets covered with leaves and such that come in through the air vents. :)

I cleaned mine out and it helped. My problem, is when I have it on defrost with hot air blowing on the windshield, I get cold air flowing through the circle vents. I don't know if that is normal or maybe a door in the system is not sealing right. I'm sure it is coming from the outside somewhere. Just haven't had time to investigate. Luckily I'm in a tintop so it helps hold some heat in.

I cleaned the heater, it had a mouse nest in most of it.
I also get cold air out of the circle vents, but I filled them with papertowels for now. I am going to pull the dash out and close off the circle vents so all the air has to go into the heater core.
I was just hoping for a bolt in fan that would move some air.
