Title: Bought some pieces to fab a roof rack.

I picked a couple of Xterra roof rails of ebay for cheap.
They look like a good start to fab a roof rack for the Tracker.
I am going to fab the front air deflector out of aluminum and recess a couple of lights in to it.
Also I will fab 3 cross bars from aluminum tube to provide a good structure to strap stuff to.
I think I am going to paint it a cast iron colour, should look different on a Tracker.

For $65 buck with freight from ebay, I think I have the start of a cool and functional roof rack.

I like this idea. I totalled an Xterra today at work and I was looking at the roof rack. Post pics of the build.
