Post by: sidekick 4x4 on February 05, 2007, 06:07:19 PM
tonight im going to buy coil spacers from boondox and i herd that you need to get new shock or shocks from a crown vic and i want to just buy new shocks so if any one knows what shocks i need to buy for this to work that would help alot, the coil spacers are 1.5"

Just asked that question last week. I think the Monroe $20 shocks for the '91 crown victoria will do fine. That's what I bought.

Yep, you did. And someone else asked the same question the week before that. This same question has come up almost once every couple weeks or so for quite some time. It has been answered many times over. Sorry for being grumpy, but I just answered yet another PM asking if I would make coil spacers taller than 1.5", after explaining over and over and over why that's not a good idea... >:(

You need 91 crown vic rear shocks, the monroe gasmatics from advance are really cheap and work perfectly.

also boondox sells shocks there for all sorts of lift sizes, 30.00 per shock not bad...
