Title: 4 door 3inch coil lift springs on a 2 door
Post by: john1974 on February 08, 2007, 08:07:43 AM
I am about to put 4 door 3inch lift coil springs on my 1994 2 door tracker.  There alittle stiffer I know, but I am also going to be adding a custom front and rear bumper, and a winch down the line.   So it will even out.

Will the coils alone be enough for me to clear 31x10.5's with issues?  ive searched and searched but alot of pics are gone from the threads...

you better get some front differential drop brackets or find some way to lower the diff cause if you dont you will blow your cv's like no other.  boondox sells diff drop brackets from there sus. lift kit but there are in redesign right now so you might wait a while.  but they are an absolute need if you are gettin an extra 3 in of lift

You'll need longer shocks and strut extensions too or your suspension is going to be pretty solid. Depending on wheel offset and width you might need to bash back the seam in the front wheel arch too. Don't forget to take pics.
