I'm just wondering if others out there are running stock cv shafts with a locked front on their Track/Kicks. I was out with some guys from the club today and blew, no I think exploded is a better word an inner and an outer within an hour or so of each other. Did I just have shit luck or is this common? I'm going to need to pack a 5gal pail of them with me at this rate. :o

you just cant stand on it with the wheels turned at lock.
good luck

;D Really depends on how you drive it I guess. I've been to Paragon with mine a bunch of times without breaking anything...yet. Bent some stuff though. ;D

I guarantee you'll never break anything at paragon again, unless you crash your plane there while trying to land....

Well I'm not scared of the skinny pedal when needed but I wasn't on it hard either time. First one was my fault I guess as I was turning while backing up but the second one was pretty much straight ahead. I am running an auto with 4 to 1 t-case gears and 5.13 diffs on 34" tires, maybe I've gone past the acceptable level of what the cv will withstand? ::)

Probably the extra load and traction of those 34's. Not to steel the thread, but that Paragon issue may still be up in the air from what I've read. I won't hold my breath though. Now about crashing a plane there, with an airport going in anythings possible!
