OK, no desciptions, just PICTURES of where this stupid thi is located!! I know the one part is located on the pass sisde frame rail, ynder the pass feet. Where's the other part that you adjust for a lift??????
-
For give my ignorance but what is a LSPV and I may be able to help you. :-/

LSVP is Load Sensing Proportioning Valve
It is in the back, not far from the fuel filter,
and there is a spring that attaches to the
rear Y link, sorry, I don't have a picture.
You could also follow the rear brake
lines, they go into it :)

Also if you have ABS in the rear there won;t be an LSPV

Done that a bunch of times. Nothing. Hell I put all new lines back their (to run my line lock) and STILL nothing! I know what I'm looking for, I have one on my Taco.
I think I Just need a pic to confirm that it's NOT THERE.
Also, I had a zuki friend tell me that the LSPV is a little metering block on the side of the master cylinder! Almost makes sense, all the lines coming from the MC go into a little aluminum block, then out to the brakes.....?
SOMEONE GO TAKE ME A PIC!!!!!! :'(

It is mounted to the round crossbar directly above the Y bar of your reae suspension.

Yep, that's the critter
;D
I don't think the 91 has Anti Lock brakes
so it should be there, it sences the load
or squat of the rear springs and increases
pressure for better braking
-
Well, figured out why I never saw it......

It ain't there! :o ???
Here's some sorta block on the pass side.
and the weird metering block right by the MC. It has the sensor plugged into it.

Well I guess they did get ABS into the 91's
Do you also have the wire going into the
3rd member ?
Zig and I both have 89' models, that could
be why we both have them, and you don't

My 91 tracker (Lsi) had ABS (I say had cuz I undid it when I swapped to my new gears.)

OK, now that we've all worked out why Cheif doesn't have a LSPV on his track/kick, can i use this thread to ask ZIG what's going on here in this pic?
(http://www.omghi2.us/april05/zig q's.JPG)
1. what is this bracket for? i see its a standard track/kick diff, and you're using a calmini kit.
2. what's going on here? did you make a 90 degree mount for the top of the diff? are there even bolts?

Yea, I got the wire going to the rear brakes. Maybe I should pull that wire and it'll give me some brakes back?!?! Maybe since the lift it won't let the rears lock up???? I don't think I have ever known the ABS to work, had it off road a few times, and locked em all up solid....
OK, so know what??????????? I still have super squishy brakes..... ???

Lets see if I got the mounts right.....
Zukipilot added a 9" rear axle into his Kick. The #1 is probably a traction bar mount he didn't cut off from previous owner. The #2, the top Kick mount is probably a fabrication welded on top of the diff housing. I would hope the weld have a good surface bite area as that mount looks like it's in total shear mode....
-
ok, makes sense now, i thought that #1 mount was for a trac bar.
but the upper arm mount is a bit of a worry looking at that pic.

1- It's a Currie Ford 9" that came off of an IROC buggy. It is a mount for the anti wrap bar that was used on the buggy (to lazy to cut it off and it's not in the way of any thing :P).
2- We had to make a bracket to attach the calmini V-bar to my ford 9", so we flipped it around to get a better fit with the MUCH bigger housing.

Damn I should of kept reading before replying, you had it perfect. You can not see it in the pic but there is a Thick steel brace on the back of it (it's not going any where) It's survived over a year of wheeling abuse with no troubles)

Got a pic of the back of it?
