Hey guys, haven't posted much here but would like some help.
I have a 92 Sidekick 4-door 16v. I recently was in a wreck. Long story short, my evasive action to not hit the guy ran me into a curb. The front right wheel is now out of wack. The alignment is screwed up too. When I jack the kick up and place a hand on the top and bottom then alternate pressing and pushing it wiggles. It seems like the wheel isn't all the way screwed in. I know that sounds weird.
Could I have crushed a bearing or something?
Thanks guys.

Check the other side and see if the freeplay is different. Also, that freeplay might have been that way before--maybe the bearing wasn't tightened properly. You might have just bent something.

You could have a number of problems. Lower ball joint play. Play in the inner or outer tie rod. Losse wheel bearing. You also could of bent something. Best thing to do is take it for and alignment, tell them what happened and have them check things out. I am a licenced mechanic and do alignments all the time. If nothing is bent or loose you probably knocked out the alignment. It doesn't take much.

Took apart the front hub. The front wheel bearing lock plate had come loose. So I cleaned it all up repacked it with some good grease and shes fixed! For that problem...
Well I took it in. I bent a strut. My tie rods are seized so I have to replace those. Alignment Shop wanted $700 to fix it all and align. So I said thanks and limped back to the house with the kick.
Just need the time and the parts. I can fix anything. Then I'll go get it aligned.
Thanks for the help guys!
