Is it better to put the space |removethispart|@ the t-cast or the diff
Ryan
-
Good question but most of them are put on at the Dif.
-
I was told t-case by a vendor
-
i don't know if this is the right way but i would put it at the tcase to stop from getting damaged by rocks and what not.

I installed thinner spacers at both ends and have run my truck that way for about 6 years. Haven't lost a u-joint because of it yet... I DID lose a rear u-joint because I undertightened the flange bolts...

Thats how i have seen people doing them. Just like ack said, spacers on both sides of the drive shaft. But i have seen it the other way to on the T-case side thou, i guess to keep it higher up.

I've had my spacers on the diff's for the last ten years with no problems. I guess it doesn't really matter.

on a sammie the front one goes on the t case for x member clearence, the back one gets a longer yoke, on kicks it's kinda hard to put them on the t case ;D
