I am having trouble finding a spare so I am interested in what everyone has to say as well.  I was using the stock spare for my niece's tetherball but a 31 on it should make it more stable and I can borrow it for wheeling

The minimum recommended rim width for a 31x10.5 is 7"

ok so i found some rims and tires i want to buy but im not sure if the rim will fit on my sidekick and i dont konw if the tire will work on the rim, i want to get bfg a/t 31x10.50R15 and the rim is 15x8 Size 5x5.5 Bolt Pattern 3.75" Back Spacing and i was wondering if that was the right lug pattern and the right back spacing and one the picture of the rim its a 6 lug but i dont know if it comes in a five heres the link to the rim and http://www.tirepackage.com/productlist.asp?prodlineid=70&product=Series+97+Monster+Mod&make=15%20Inch%20Rim%20Size&cat=Wheels

I'm sure the photo is just a file photo
But everything else seems fine.
I run this combo on my 4dr
31"s on 15x8
I would believe atlest a 5"inch lift for 31's or 3"inch with fender trimming.

yea right now i have a 1.5" coil spacer lift and i measured my frame height when it was stock then after i put the coil spacers on and it was a 2.5" lift and on monday im ordering a 3" body lift so i think that should be enough to run 31"s but i could be wrong

yeah, that 31" setup should work well. im running my 31's on 15x8's, 3.25" backspacing, and 1" wheel spacers, with just minimal fender trimming, and its great. it still has plenty of clearance for articulation
