Title: pinto carb on 1.6 8 valve
Post by: TinTopTuner on February 18, 2007, 06:25:46 PM
after having continous problems out of my stock carb and not really wanting to fork out for a weber i made an adapter and put a motorcraft/holley 2 barrell on my 1.6 8 valve in my zuk, this is the same carb used on most 2300 ford motors found in pintos and rangers. the throttle response is great with only a slight difference in my fuel mileage and best of all, No vacuum lines!!  Ill try to post some pics later!!

From conversations with sarge, I believe that it is a weber clone!

im pretty sure its the weber clone, they look very similar..im not sure what exact cfm it is im guessing around 200 or so....we used to run circle track pintos and always had good luck with these carbs, and there cheap too, only about a hundred bucks at advance auto parts
