Welcome aboard. You can check the Garage section for an extra engine or go to
(http://www.hawksuzukiparts.com/Header/IMAG000.GIF)
and check for a rebuilt one or kit.

Welcome Nick
Tell us where you are located and someone near you can probably guide you to a rebuildable 1.3 block or perhaps an upgrade to trac/kick 1.6.
Most major cities have Asain import parts houses with low mile take out motors at reasonable prices. Japan has very strict smog laws requiring early engine removal...or so I hear...never bought one myself...just a thought. Let us know when you are up and rolling... Gary

Welcome to the board. Now would be a very good time to fit a 1.6, if you're going to do a lot of mods it will be worth it.

thanks alot you guys i live about an hour away from chicago and would it cost anymore to put a 1.6 in there

Yes, but not alot more, and it would be very well worth it!

He is right. It is definitely worth the extra effort/cost to put in a 1.6.

Welcome!
Lots of information here and elsewhere on the Zukin's sites on swapping to the 1.6 Sidekick/Tracker engine! It's very common

rodeoboy549, I live in Chicago and there is an place that sells Suzuki engines on Elston Ave., the place sells on eBay often, usually around $650.00 for low milage engines with warranty, don't know if that's a good price but could get you location info and phone number if you'd like.
