Title: too much?

i found a 91 samurai jl for sale around my house. its red, new soft top, and overall in decent condition with around 120000 miles. its completely stock, and the guy wants $1400 for it (he wont accept less....i offered him $1000 cash then and there and he wouldnt take it)  i just think $1400 is a little pricey for a 91 samurai. am i crazy, or does anyone else think this is asking too much?

It's all according to condition. $1400 could be cheap for a nice Sammy, or too much for a beater..

but, they are getting more and more expensive as time goes by.

i paied 1100 for my 88 and it was pretty trashed, but it did have a new 1.3 in it
and it does run dam strong.
