Post by: mesjr2004 on December 31, 2004, 05:14:46 PM
this is my project tracker frame what do ya think
toy axels
5.71r&ps with lockers
samy trans and transfer case
toy ifs power steering box
(http://www.eye-irritant.com/august2004/Pict0058.JPG)
the rear has extended 3 link with 3/4" heim joints with high missalingment washers.
it will twist and move freelly over 30" plans are to use 16"travel fox air shocks thats the reason for the tube running through the frame for a place for shock mounting.
all of the fabrication and engerning ive done myself
(http://www.eye-irritant.com/august2004/Pict0060.JPG)
the front will flex about 28" from bumpstop befor binding on mounts
its a 4 link with no panhard arm  using 3/4"heimjoints and missalignment washers as well
(http://www.eye-irritant.com/august2004/Pict0061.JPG)
ive cut all of the stock bracketrey off and welded 3/16 plate to frame for a place to weld shockmounts and reenforce the frame for 16" airshocks
(http://www.eye-irritant.com/august2004/Pict0063.JPG)
i fabed a 3/4" plate to mount the steering box to on the outside the frame to try to eleminate a little of the bumpsteer
ive got a long way to go, waiting on money to finish it shocks are expensive.and the shocks are slowing me down
i plan on a high steer setup as well. and a transfer reduction geerset
