They BARELY clear the rear most part of the front fenders, but won't clear when flexed. So I need to cut and move the front mounts for the sliders, and bash in the firewall/floorboard some more. Already put s big hole in the pass side firewall! Damn rust!!

Hella Tight ;D lookin good what size are they ??? do you have a body lift or is it just suspension

31x11.50 LTB's. 15x8" rims, w/ 2.5" BS. I have about 2" of susp lift, that's it.
-
The upflex out back is probably going to hit for ya. It looks like you got about 4" back there, which was same for me. You might get to the bumpstop first (or top of the shock), but I just cut ...
Them are nice meats !!!! With that floatation, river crossings might turn into rafting trips ;D

LOL Yea, I ain't done trimmin yet, I know that much! I need longer shocks in the rear and need to get some TJ coils also. It's gettin there!!
-
In the back I'm finding about 5" up and 2" down for travel ... obviously would like to expand that downtravel number. I can't expect much more down from just shocks (other limits come into play), but the 2" today is pitiful.
In this thread I asked for info regarding shocks ... http://www.zukiworld.com/cgi/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=suzuki_talk;action=display;num=1101147933;start=0#0
I'm going to go in some day and see what I can find from the guys at the local parts place. (the napa guys nearest to me are good folks). that 9.5" travel shock looks like a good fit.

You need to get one of these to get some good flex in the rear!

Let's that balljoint move freely. helps out ALOT. Gives alot more downtravel and really unbinds the susp. Getting TJ front coils, and some long shocks and I'll be done with the rear.
-
My prob .. at this point ... isn't the joint, it's the lame 7" shocks! I can get 5" up, and if longer shocks give me 4" down, I'll be very happy.
A spacer like that would put 33" into the realm of possibilities ... then again the front is also limited with the stock A's, so ....
-
doh ... my brain must not be functioning (or at least slowly) ...
I forget the PIVOT is the key in a these (on a leaf sprung vehicle, the shocks can matter). So, with every inch of down I add, it's another inch of up on the other side of the pivot. Doh. So yea, dropping the pivot is important!
I'm slowly catching on.

LOL don't hurt yourself! Trust me, get one of those balljoint spacers, it helps ALOOOOOOOOOOOT.

That piece for the rear ball joint did you make that, or buy that, that's pretty cool we had to build one for my brother's truck (Real Red Wagon) but ours spacer is about 4 in. tall, But we underestimated the strength and it's bending, we call it the type writer axle's moving sideways, but still holding. Not getting too far off topic the tires look great though!!!
Now Make It Hert!!!!

Nice part there CHIEF. Looks perty good for a home made one.
Ya outa make a coulpole and sell'em ;D

If it's bending you better get him to switch it out SOON. When that sucker snaps the rear axle rotates around and either trashes your driveshaft, crushes your shocks or both >:( And hope it does not happen if your running at any speed, then he will be fixing boy parts and whatever else gets trashed from bouncing through a ditch :o

LTB's look pretty nice :D
-
Sorry, what are LTB's? Your truck looks sick... I just ordered some 1" spacers and gonna get a 3" bl soon and want my kick to look like yours.
-
LTB= light truck bias. ;D
-
LTB= Long Tread Block
:)
From the site:
What is the Super Swamper LTB... A Super Swamper
with a little more length on the largest lug.
Eceptionally tough and designed for hard off road use.
The side lugs are extra long
for more dirt removal, these
things are like a tractor tire,
and they dig holes in a hurry too
-
huh, i never noticed that lugs being bigger. could some one mesure one of the big lugs and i'll compare it to one of the sets of TSL's we have.

Now looking at it I don't see too much difference
in it either, but their site said:
The Super Swamper LTBs are in the same basic
Three Stage Lug design as the famous Super
Swamper TSL’s but a little more aggressive. The
large lug is offset more to the outside which gives
the tire superb traction. It is in bias ply construction
which allows for the more aggressive lugs and very
strong sidewalls to better resist the rigors of hard off-roading.
The bias construction reduces the chances
of sidewall splitting when run off road at low air
pressure. There are seven sizes available….sizes
which are not available in the regular TSL line.

and i always thought that the center tread reminded me of a radial TSL. ÂÂ
sizes:
31x11.50x15
33x13.50x15
34x10.50x15
and so on in 16in and 17in rims
so why don't more people use the 34x10.50x15?  only Whitfeild uses those if i remeber correctly.  they are narrow so you would have a better turning radius and only 1in taller than a 33x13.50

34's 10.50 's are what im putting on my project tracker.
they look pretty tuff. not shur how their gona do thow,
with the valve stems removed they still dont squat.
would someone tell me how to post picts :-/

I kind've wish I had gotten the 34's rather than the 33x13.50's, but yet I don't. I assume the narrower 34's would dig a lot more than the wider 33's. :-/

Thanks for the compliments guys. ;D
I got the rear wheel wells cut out some more to make room, and I think I got room for 35's now. ;D :o Get some pics tonight.
Now, as far as that balljoint spacer goes, I didn't make em, my friend did. He expressed interest in making em if there was a market for em. Have to see what kinda price he could turn em out for for more people. I had to modify mine just a touch, but then again, it was the prototype! 8)

Sorry, what are  LTB's? Your truck looks sick... I just ordered some 1" spacers and gonna get a 3" bl soon and want my kick to look like yours.
I only have about 2" of lift on mine. All susp. I got steel rims to the tune of 2.75" backspacing. I clear the frame with a couple of inches. Thing is really stable! I cut the floorboard a bit, and smashed it back. Clears bya mile now!
LTB's, check out www.tyres1.com. That's where I got em from.

I am interested.;D Keep us posted on $ and time frame.
Thanks

I build a 3" lifted version that corrects the
angle of the A-arm and makes the brakes
work normal, for those that have a proportioning
valve.
It's also offset to rotate the axle toward the
T-case and reduce the driveline angles at the diff

I'd take one too if the price isn't astronomical.

You need to get one of these to get some good flex in the rear!

This isn't normally something a guy would say to another guy but "Nice parts!"
I have a buddy here in town who's thinking about making about a half dozen of these.
