Title: reverse lights help?

my reverse lights only work when i hold my 93 5 speed tracker in reverse as soon as you let of the shifter they go out starting to get annoying try to back up having to hold the gear shift in place anyone know what my problem could be ?

Probably the switch that screws into the top, left side of the tranny.  I had a similar problem with mine, I tried cleaning the old switch, but it didn't help, replaced the switch and it works perfect.

who needs em?....  My sammy doesnt know what reverse lights are!
