any more ideas on how to fix the gas. i'm gonna run the thing into a wall. it has new car, plugs, wires, air filter, pcv valve, cat, o2 sensor. i dunno whats left to change. i never hammer the gas always eays on it. it has 235's no lift. the front end squeeks even worse after lubing it up. i go easy on it. never over a hundred and its still getting 16 US MPG on a extreamly good day. put it in 4x4 and forget even lookin at it. it goes to less then half that. anything i can do to fix it that i'm missing beside a hammer? hahah. thanx alot

Maybe a fuel leak. I had a tank puncture before & got 3 MPG. LOL

Fuel leak sounds good to me too. Being a 93, I assume it's fuel-injected. No gas in the crankcase right? I don't see that you changed your computer. That seems to be the only thing left. Do you know someone that will let you try their computer out to see if it makes a difference? Try to find one cheap or maybe yours can be tested, not sure.
I hate to steer you wrong with the computer since you already threw alot of parts at it but if the fuel aint dumping on the ground, and since it gets twice as bad in 4 wd, I think I would take a hard look at that computer.
Keep us posted if you find anything out.

It may be time to go to a shop who can diagnose the problem. :(
