Title: Carb issue

I have an 87 sami with factory carb that runs fine but seems to be running rich due to the exhaust fumes. Can anyone tell how to tune this cab or where I can find info on how to tune it? I don't want to replace it at this time as I have seen this is a common fix for the factory carbs.
