Title: Cruiser axle on sami
Post by: cuban_b on December 29, 2004, 06:43:24 PM
I'm thinking of putting a cruiser axle on my sami.  Does anyone know how wide they are?  Also, will the sami master cylinder push enough brake fluid for a toy mini truck front and cruiser rear?

About 55" wms to wms. i run  a mini front with an FJ-40 rear with discs and my pedal travel is more than normal but not excessive HTH!

Which cruiser?

FJ40's and 60's are, yes 55-56" ... but FJ80's are 63".

;)

I thought the 80's were wider after thinking later, but knew you'd pick this up if correction was needed.  ;D

Cruiser axles work good, the larger size isnt much of an issue unless you do alot of 'technicial' trails. That is what I am currently running on my sami. I am waiting to hear back about a job in Mass. so I might be down-sizing and switching to shaved pick-up axles so I dont have a problem with inspection.
