Title: 1.6 8v ECM

I got one quick question.... If ECM fails will the check engine light come on? 

Because I have all of the symptoms of "failed" ECM but no check engine light?

Ive searched but have not found anything.....

Mine did.  Are you sure the light is working?  Should show when you turn the ignition on.

You may not get a CEL, it depends on how dead it is.
