ive read a couple of things recently about people modifying the frame to get lift without any suspension modifications. is this on a track/kick or a sammy? if its a track/kick, what exactly is modified? what are the drawbacks? id like to lift my sidekick enough to fit 35" - 37" tires with no more than a 3" body lift, and a big suspension lift, while keeping the ifs, and im not afraid to cut out the fenders. ive got a couple of ideas, but i dont know how well they would work.

Let me know when you do, so I can invest in an axle remanufacturing company.
I was snapping CV joints with 31's. Now I'm on 33's, I wouldn't make it without the Toyota 4Runner axles, and Stan's axle mod.

The frame cut people are mentioning are different varyations of the one from the rockstar artical.

if i do this, ive got a friend that will fabricate the cv's for me, and ill be running the anvil housing, so both shafts will be identical, and easy to replace.

What's a safe size to go to without breaking CV's? Or, is there a way to rn 31's without going to yota front end? I'm strongly considering selling my sami for a trackick this spring.

Depends on your driving style.
Pritchett Canyon ate my CV's with 31's.

SO WILL THE FRONT HANDLE A 33 INCH TIRE ?

it depends....an open diff with easy driving (no full throttle) it should hold up fine. if you have a locker or drive at full throttle constantly, you'll eventually break some cv's. i have a limited slip up front and drive full throttle a lot with 31's, but havent broken any cv's yet, but then again i dont go rockcrawling.
