i have a whining noise coming from my sammy when my clucth is engaged and it doesnt matter if is in gear or not but goes a way when i disengage the cluth i think it is the throw out bearing but want to know what yo al think

Mine does the same thing, I think it is the throwout bearing. Just never found the time to find out for sure. I just keep the cluch in when Im not moving, and it doesnt whine at all.

Mine does it too. I just transfered my motor and throwout bearing to my newer zuk. If it still makes the noise I'll let ya know.

now i have the same problem,and i changed my throw out bearing with a new clutch kit and still the same noise, so i put new bearings in it from trail tough , and it still makes this noise .i pulled the shifter out and filled the tranny with lucas oil and it got quieter but still there.did the gears get damaged?my tranny was out of oil when i got the sammy and with oil the same noise

was driving today and took my foot off the gas and the noise went away has someone ran in to this before

Mine does it too. My last sammy got quieter with lucas but I haven't tried it on this one. Does anyone have a stock 1.3 sammy that doesn't whine? Could be the hubs, wheelbearings, transfercase, rearend, Who Knows?
