I know the driveshaft flange size changed in 90' I think , did the length of the shaft get longer as well? I also heard somewhere the the wheel base changed in 90' as well, is that true? Because I got a driveshaft from the local boneyard here, they said it was a 91' shaft, but clearly the flange was a different size, but LMS made it fit. So my question is are they different???

On a What ?
Sammy ?

Oh yeah, sorry about that it's a sammi.

With the shaft having a slip spline
I wouldn't think it would matter too
much, I mean how much wheelbase
did it change ??

All Sammi 4wd Drive shafts are the same length. The Front is not same as rear though. The 88.5 models started the large flange patern though. That is the only difference in all the years ;)

I've had two 88.5 models, both were small flange. Either 89 or 90 they changed to the large pattern.
The wheelbase supposedly changed like a half inch or so, not noticeable at all.
