Why not toss some yota axles under it?
they meet the requirements and they're stronger than D30/35 stuff
-
d30 and d35 ... fine if you only want 32" tires.

I think that the "foreign" axels are going to get into this list soon (experts on zuks/yotas should contribute).
I like these sort of lists, never going to be the definitive word, but a decent basis to work from (i.e. what is a reasonable basis for 35's, etc).

Keep it IFS ;D There are ways ;D I can fit 35's and have 17" at the frame

Yeah.. you could..
but I have 27" at the frame right now. ;) (and that's ON 35's... ... ... I think I'm going to go with 37's...)

EDIT: Wow.. pay close attention and draw a line from the top of my truck to the garage door opening....

I have 18" of frame clearance and I'm on 32's. Looking to go the 35's in 2 years.
Heather, 24" is max here in Michigan.

Wow..
so your frame can't be higher than 24"?
The only requirements here is that something that passes for a bumper both front and rear can't be any higher than about 31", headlights can't be higher than 54", and tail lights can't be higher than 72". Then you just need to have some kind of fender flare and mud flap to cover the tires up.
I know that the guys with the blazers and broncos that jack themselves up can easily pass 24" at the frame.
:P

I see people break that law all the time.
At one time they were trying to pass a no lift law. At least that one got stopped.

that is mostly BS. axle to tire ratio has alot of factors in it. weigh being the biggest one. a D44 under a full size truck isn't the same as a D44 under a a tracker. i think 38's with a D44 is farly strong under a tracker, on the other hand, 38's and a D44 under a full size...BOOM

Thanx guys this all good info!

After seeing a Dana 44 it looks pretty bomb proof. a guy here has 44" tyres to go on the dana 44 but it will probably run on a sammy chassis not sure on the shell will post pics when its done but that might be some time

God damn, you gotta be kidding me. :o
Of course it really seems like it's only a technicality up here, as there are tons of trucks around here with more than 24" at the frame. BTW, is that the highest or lowest point?
Also, do you know if there's any other regulations like tire size and whatnot? Seems like my uncle said something about bumpers aren't supposed to stick out more than 10" or something like that in front of the grille... ???

Dana 30 is a good axle on something light like a zuki. I abused one for years on a cj-5 with no problems.
CJs are where to find passenger side diff dana 30s.
Forget the 35 though. It's weak and it's a c-clip axle (wheels fall off if it breaks).
AMC 20 with one piece shafts would be cool on a tracker.

Heather, I know the feeling :o I'm already planning to replace a piece of a beam to make a taller garage door if strapping down the suspension and running no air in the tires doesn't get me out of the garage.
