Changed out the pcv valve today! It was not hanging up but it was sticky! I also found that the rubber gromet that it fits into was dry and cracked which caused a vaccum leak :o. This change out helped the power loss I was having.
Also found that I was pushing the tracker when I was running 70 mph. I changed the tires a few months back and went with 235 M/Ts instead of the 205 A/Ts that I had on it in the past. Found out with the help of a friend that I was actually running approximately 78 MPH. 63 MPH is about 70 MPH now ;D!

dam im running 235's also i figured it would throw off the speedo but im hoping its not off that much lol know wonder i get speeding tickets and i argue the speed that i was going lol. Oh well i will continue to argue it just for fun bahaha

I was running up the rear and passing a lot of other cars before I found out about the 63 MPH deal ;D! The only thing was that they would catch me on a hill while I was floor boarded trying to maintain 70MPH :P!!!!

I used a GPS and found that with stock tires I was going 56 when the speedo said 60. with 235s the GPS says 62 when the speedo says 60.

I agree somewhat with tipover, I went from 215's to 30X9.5 which actually measures 29.5 inches. My speedo/odo changed about 12%. I ran against a radar gun and it's 2-3 mph. at 35 ish mph. 63 is 70 is a bit off. More like 63 is 66 IMO.

Checked mine with GPS and with my 235 ATs the speedo is right on at 60MPH.

I went from 215's to 235's and it corrected my speedo, so now it is pretty much dead on, using the roadside radar display on the interstate.
My gas mileage went down, so I did a tune up, fuel filter and even the pcv valve, but no diffrence.

tire calculator at izook.com is a wonderfull too for this... :)

It doesn't help if your speedo is off from the factory. IMHO most of them read faster than actual speed to begin with.

I will just keep my radar buddy by my side lol

hey i got a 94 tracker...where the hell is the pcv valve!!
-
On the 96 it is on the passenger side of the engine about midway and fits into the valve cover. It looks like a vacuum hose because the pvc valve is rather small and looks like it just a connection for a vacuum line.
