Title: Buying an 84 sj410!
Post by: mcgyver on December 22, 2004, 03:17:40 PM
I have recently found an original 84 sj410 says 45k could it be 145k.... dunno. it is in great shape. I have checked the floors and the wheel wells the only rust I see is at the rear corners and behind the weel wells on the floor. it runs and drives fine with no noise.

1. is there anything else I should look at?
2. are the parts hard to find?
3. are the half soft doors OEM?
it may need a starter soon.

any help is greatly appreciated.

Very cool! I just bought an 82 last week 8) Parts are not that easy to find but they are out there. The half doors are OEM 9wish I had a set!) If you are looking for parts call Hawk or Trail Tough. They seem to have stuff in stock for them. I bet Roadlessgear can hook you up as well.

I had an 85 sj410.

You can't just go into autozone or schucks to find parts.
I got desperate one day and found that it would run with a samurai distributer cap.

Hawk suzuki parts always had what I needed when I called.
