Title: 2000 Tracker rear third in 96 Tracker
Post by: joe_and_jeep on April 10, 2007, 08:52:49 AM
I got a 4.875 rear axle (complete) out of a 2000 Tracker.  I'm putting it in my 1996 Auto Tracker to replace my 4.30s and match my front CJ axle.  I haven't picked up the axle yet.  Does the 2000 Wacker third have the holes to mount my upper control arm?  Or should I just pull the gears and swap them in my 96 third member?

I was also thinking about just 4linking the rear of my Tracker but I wanna get this done efficiently as possible considering I haven't even started putting my front axle in yet.

No 3 link mount on the GV diff, as the GV/TrackerII is a 4link suspension.  Sorry.
