Title: 2" coil spacers
Post by: geeeeoooo on April 10, 2007, 11:22:49 PM
i know there is millions of threads on using/not using these....but im thinking i would like a "nice" set of 2" spacers...but i cannot seem to find any, and i dont like the idea of modifying the heep spacers, anyone have any ideas? i made the set out of some kinda really hard rubber, and after about 6 months, they are starting to deform....any help is greatly appreaciated

lift coils is another idea.....but they are all fairly pricey.....anyone know of any cheapass springs either?? i want to check chassis tech tomorrow....they are a lowrider suspension co. and they are CHEAP, but fairly decent quality, i had a set of their springs on my mini truck b4 the 'bags, seems like -5" coils were $79 for the front set....if i could find something like this price range in a +2in coil it would be bad|removethispart|@$$!!!

money is pretty tight 'round here, but the wifey gave me permission to spend a little on some new junk thou...i just cant see paying much as i paid 250 for the whole rig....its meant to be my beater

thanks for the responses guys....

"Check the junk yards for some GV springs."
-i've been to every junkyard around here lookin for some 4 door tracker or sidekick springs, but they are alredy gone by the time im there....but most junkyard dont even have any lwb's there. i guess not many made it up to michigan ???

the inch and a half will drop my rear a half inch....im lookin to keep it like i had it....

lastly, i know digger will not make any spacer longer than a inch and a half...he's had bad experiences with it, but i had mine 6 months before they started to crush...meaning i had a full 2" spacer for 6 months...i beat the snot out of this thing too...and no problems with the cv's or anything...
