This is interesting:

* 1987 Suzuki Samurai 4 wheel drive
* 9" ADC motor, DCP 600 controller
* 144 volt, 24 12 volt UPS batts
* Top Speed: ~80mph
* Range: ~20 miles
* Two military surplus style chargers, upgraded suspension and heavy motor mount
Note the very unique use of the old engine. One-half of a cylinder remains and is used to mount the motor and couple it to the transmission!

great concept

again... a cool concept
but the 20 mile range is miniscule
make that 50-100 and it would be a lot more desirable

If they would of left one piston in it and part of a head it would of made for one heck of an air compressor ;D you can always pull a trailer with a small generator in it.
