Title: will a 1985 samurai front end fit on a 88 ?

Will an '85 Zuk front clip fit on an 88?  Looking to buy an '85.  Put the front clip on my wrecked '88.  Is it the same or do I have to do some modifications?

That is a good question... I think 86 and up is what you want to look for.... not sure....

as far as I know,  it will,  they didnt change much,  I don't know how much you wheel, or your driving style,  But what I did was took a rool bar from another samurai,  and with a little bit of work,  Ie(cutting, chiseling, welding, sheet metal screws) etc it fits directly underneath the fenders,  and sits out from and hood just a bit,  i had to cut the roll cage in half and the grill took some ingenuity,  I opted for a road warrior type expanded metal look,  but i could have put the factory grill on.  I won't go to much into detail,  but if ur intrested I could send ya  better instructions.
