Just spent 8,000 yen (70 bucks) on some white 7" wide rims for the Escudo (track/kick); tomorrow I get the 31's. I think sanding and flat black paint will do wonders.

Some time next week I am going to put my 1.5 coil spacers and 2 inch bodylift on put the new tires and rims on. I wish you guys could see the Samurai 4x4 shops they have here.

One of the guys in my club runs wheels just like that on his Sammy. :) Send a pic when you get it all mounted!

I'd check on having them bead blasted and then paint them.
There seems to be a lot of rust on them.
either that, or sand them really good and paint them.
They look like sammie wheels but wider.
BTW: Semi Flat black goes on very well.

I am still waiting on Rockyroad's 2 inch body lift, and some strut spacers from another vendor before I can put them on.

I bought some used 31's and had them mounted today just to be ready when my stuff arrives in the mail. Tires, even used ones, are expensive here. I paid 28,000 yen for these guys. I went over them with a

wire brush and it was just surface rust. I probably throw semi flat black on them later.
